  • Why RYA courses?
There are many reasons why people choose RYA training: when starting out in boating, or looking to move to a larger boat to learn how to harness the power from their boat and make the most of its capabilities to open up job opportunities for both short and long term career options to improve confidence on and around the water for younger family members looking to spread their wings and take the helm safely to allow you to hire boats when abroad under the International Certificate of Competence.
  • Why should I choose you?
Not only are we a recognised RYA training centre but many of our instructors are career maritime professionals who have immense experience. Our personalised approach, small groups and well maintained equipment will provide you with the best learning environment possible. We also are surrounded by incredible coastlines and share a love for having fun on the water!
  • Where are you based?
We are on the picturesque Isle of Wight, more specifically on the St Helens Duver a stone's throw away from Duver Marina! The Duver, St Helens, Woodnutts PO33 1YB
  • Do you provide all safety equipment?
Yes, we provide everything you'll need for our courses, RIB trips or jetski adventures! All of our boats are commercially coded, with regular inspections of all the necessary equipment to ensure the highest level of safety on the water.
  • What happens if the weather is bad?
Inherently our trips and courses are affected by the weather. The majority of the time we will be completely fine and everything will run as normal, however if our skippers or instructors deem it to be unsafe conditions we will let you know straight away and are more than happy to re-schedule for a time that suits you!
  • What should I bring?
Don't worry we have everything needed! However, a towel, suncream and swimming costumes or trunks would be handy! If you have your own wetsuit please feel free to bring that along!
  • Do I need a license?
No, absolutely no experience required! Our Jetski adventures are led by experienced Personal Watercraft instructors who will tell you all you need to know to enjoy your time out on the water safely!
  • Can I bring a camera?
Yes... however it is entirely at your own risk. We recommend you leave phones and cameras on the shore and our instructors are more than happy to take photos and videos of you on their devices - that way your expensive kit stays dry and on land!
  • If sharing a jetski, can we swap over drivers?
Yes absolutely you can, just speak to one of our instructors beforehand and they will make sure you swap over safely and try and keep you dry whilst doing so!
  • Where do we go and what do we do?
Once out on the water the time is yours, staying mainly in the Eastern Solent we are able to offer a trip out to the forts or to see the ships, a swim in priory bay or simply let you have a blast around once our instructor finds a safe area! Just let one of our instructors know when you arrive what you'd like to do!
  • How long do I get on the water?
Allow up to 2 hours for the whole experience, this time includes a safety brief, kitting up and familiarisation with the Jetski. Once out on the water we will be out for an hour.
